On 9 Feb 1929 it was resolved that the Federation of Boys' and Girls' Poultry Clubs' should be re-named the East Sussex Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs and be affiliated to the National Federation. Its declared aims were 'to advance the education of boys and girls under 21 years of age in stock raising and other branches of agriculture, the management of affairs and the practice of thrift, perseverance and self reliance'
The East Sussex Federation appears to have lapsed between 1940 and 8 Jul 1944 when an inaugural meeting was held
