Folios 266-267. Letter from James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board. He asks on behalf of the surveyor and engineer to the local board, if it is necessary for the plans in duplicate of the sewage works to be deposited with the Board before 30 November 1879, the date by which they must be deposited with the Clerk of Parliament and at the Private Bill office, it being necessary to take over land under compulsory powers. He seeks an early reply because time is very short and lands need to be required by compulsory purchase.
Annotated: 'Today, acknowledge and send a copy of the instructions of August last and refer to paragraph 4'. 24 November 1879.
Paper Number: 87289/1879.
