As of October 1919 his siblings were Dorothy Parker aged 19 of 30 Nile St, Liverpool and Marie Parker aged 15 of 'Elmsdale', Greenbank Drive, Sefton Park, Liverpool. Enlisted Liverpool 1/12/14. Aged 19 years 3 months at enlistment, address 6 Back Russell St, Liverpool, occupation seaman, height 5' 11", weight 166lbs with good physical development. To France from Southampton 11/3/15. Awarded 14 day's Field Punishment No 2 on 16/2/16 for a) neglect of duty while doing duty in the trenches with the MG section b) taking off equipment while in a fire trench. To Machine Gun Company 9/3/16. Admitted 2/1 Wessex Field Ambulance 9/3/16 (infuenza). Discharged to duty 15/3/16 and returned to duty with Machine Gun Company. Admitted 1/3 West Lancs Field Ambulance 17/5/16 (eczema). Returned to duty 23/6/16. Killed in action 6/9/16 with MGC. (Soldiers papers - Ancestry)
Son of Sgt Albert Parker late of Liverpool City Police and now employed by Mrs Townshend-Logan of Christleton Bank. Private Parker was previously employed by the White Star Line and engaged on the Cedric. (Liverpool Express 6/10/16)
