3 June Artiste made descent by parachute at fete at Kingsholm Ground

27 June At Parish Council meeting proposed reservoir "this side of the Hill" was discussed
20 July School went in procession, with band playing, to Badgeworth Court, to attend party in celebration of Miss Payne's 21st. birthday
5 Aug. Went to Cranham church, "which is being restored and enlarged by a north aisle - by Mr. Dyer Edwards - of Priknash"
9 Aug. Attended auction of the 'Old House at Home' (public house). Sold to Agg Gardiner's Brewery Co. for £1030
19 Aug. Description and history of Brimpsfield, its church etc. Also of Syde and Miserden
30 Aug. Visited Edgeworth - description of church
12 Sept. Visit to Three Choirs Festival, Glouc. Cathedral with choir boys
19 Sept. Parish Council meeting - Fanny Lees appointed to vacant alms house after discussion re. her chastity, as she lived as housekeeper to Will Davis
21 Sept. Geo. Garness in landlord of the Old House at home from next Saturday
28 Sept. To Minchinhampton - description of church
30 Oct. Meeting of Committee of Club. Decided Thomas Cole was not entitled to sick pay because he was drunk and challenged a man to a fight

30 Nov. Shown over the second of 2 new cottages nearly opposite Pirton Court - very commodious
Anthony Morris's grand-daughter "behaved as a perfect Virago" while drunk
6 Dec. Dr. Smithe related how at his club in London "by means of the electrophone he heard distinctly the performance at the Gaiety 1 1/4 miles away
31 Dec. Description of all the sounds in celebration of the New Year

10 Jan. Rose's mother found outside bedroom window clinging to the ledge. Rescued by the postman
16 Jan. Exciseman came to look at premises - thinks we must pay 9s. licence [presumably on account of brewing beer]
20 Jan. Rose had alarming attack of colic (from previous evening). Dr. Davis sent for but was in London. Mrs. Gilkes applied mustard plaster, hot water etc. producing slight improvement
23 Jan. News of death of Prince Henry of Battenberg
24 Jan. Dr. Prance sent medicine for Rose (who is improving slowly)
6 Feb. Parish Council meeting - letter from Post Office stating that they could not grant a pillar box for the Hare & Hounds district
15 March It was decided not to send will to school after tomorrow morning on account of the smallpox now raging
16 March Miss Phillips (assistant schoolmistress) told to take a holiday "(she coming to and fro from the infected district)"
17 March Has felt unwell in past few days. "G. Davis brought me some of his medicine from a prescription of Dr. Davis late of Miss Nichole's (from Gloucester)"
20 March Hickman, landlord of the Fleece, Gloucester, wishing to move his family from reach of smallpox, went to Mr. Baynham (? place) to rent a house. When asked where he came from, replied Gloucester. "B. gave an order "Unloose that dog" - so H. and his company were obliged to decamp"
At School Board meeting G. Davis said privately that J. H. Jones had gone to London to be vaccinated, being afraid of not getting the C. lymph [calf lymph] pure in Glos.
