1. SAUGHTON Conveyance by Alice Cotton widow to her son and executor Anthony Cotton all her goods and chattels both fixed and moveable in perpetuity. Session by delivery of "unius le brasse pott". Drawn up in form of conveyance of land. Date 1591.
2. BURY Copy grant of houses and lands to Edmund booth including a rent charge of 5 shillings p.a. to vicar of Bury.
3. WARMINGHAM Andrew Wood rector c William Whittingham and Mary Smith on charge of adultery with William Whittingham in Middlewich. Wood presented Whittingham to Mr Wilkinson deputy of Archbishop of York at the visitation - full file. (See 1631, No. 115.)
4. KIRKHAM Office c churchwardens for having their pulpit patched with iron bands to hold it together, no cover to prevent defilement by owls and birds, too narrow to preach in and not paying for a new one as ordered by vicar Edward Fleetwood - libel.
5. KIRKHAM Office c William Tomlinson intruding himself into office of parish clerk. Custom that parish clerk is skilled on the organs and able to instruct children in music. Tomlinson can do neither. Organ used on Sundays and feasts - libel, responsions, commission of inquiry.
