Map of the Parish of Itchenor. Surveyed By J. Butler, Chichester. 26.6 in. to 1 m.
547a. being the whole of the parish of West Itchenor. State of cultivation indicated by colour. Shows Shipton Green Common; some trackways and footpaths; sea-wall and sluice. Distinguishes varieties of trees. Land belonging to Lord John George Lennox is distinguished by red numbers. This map, which is a superior copy of the Tithe Award Map [W.S.R.O. TD/W144] has a terrier attached giving acreages, names of fields, owners and occupiers. There are careful pencil additions to the map showing about 150a. in Birdham and West Wittering adjoining West Itchenor.
