Description (What the record is about)
-
Draft letter from [W.P.G.] to J.P. stating that his letter of 2 inst., was misunderstood and that he meant that they were willing to join in a guarantee that the loss on the acceptances should not exceed £300. They agree that any loss should be equally shared on the understanding that Mr Pugh also concurs. However, they do not agree that the Bank should take the vendor's half as Mr Fitter suggested.
