Description (What the record is about)
-
In the main these records are concerned with the members of families from whom the Arundells inherited land, not with the land inherited. The types of documents to be found are thus similar to those in the Arundell Family Papers section of the archive - probate records, personal correspondence, personal financial records and genealogical material. The records are arranged chronologically for each family except for the Dinhams where the number of records made subdivisions more practical.
AR/32 The Arundell of Trerice records include several bills for clothing and haberdashery items purchased for the funeral of Captain Nicholas Arundell in 1665. For other documents involving Arundells of Trerice see AR/17/118-125 (legal case brought against Sir John Arundell and his wife Anne, who was by birth an Arundell of Trerice), AR/41/5-6 and AR/46/11.
AR/34 See also AR/10 for correspondence of the Bere family.
