Made-up green cloth folder measuring 345 x 365 mm, with one print bound in and two loosely inserted (one on board mount). Print 1 has news agency caption, prints 2-3 uncaptioned. Also bound in is a four page mimeographed programme of events for 23 March 1939, starting with the greeting of the French President and Madame LeBrun by officials of state, followed by dinner with King George VI and Queen Mary at the Foreign Office. After dinner the parties proceeded to the Durbar Hall of the India Office for the unspecified theatrical performance. The three prints in this collection show the hall in various stages of preparation for this event.
