Following Act making provision for a clergyman to officiate in gaols and houses of correction: agreed to increase salary of Rev. Joseph Fayner as Chaplain to gaol and bridewell in Bodmin, to £100 p.a.
Divine service to be performed in chapels of gaol and bridewell twice every Sunday, Christmas Day and Good Friday, and a sermon to be preached there every Sunday. Morning service to begin at 10:30a.m. and evening service to begin at 3p.m.

Salt duties
Nicholas Goss, master, and George Isaac, mate, of sloop 'Union' of Plymouth, stated on oath that on 17/18 August last they shipped at Liverpool 3,720 bushels of British fishery salt to carry to Falmouth on account of John Thomas, fish curer. They sailed from Liverpool on 21 Aug. and ran into stormy weather, the vessel taking in water. 69 bushels 37lbs. of salt was lost: Collector of Excise to cancel bond.

John Hurton, master, and William Northway, mate, of ketch 'Holcombe' of Exeter stated on oath that on 17 Aug. last they shipped at Liverpool 4,000 bushels of British fishery salt to carry to Falmouth on account of John Thomas, fish curer. Running into stormy weather the vessel took in water. 134 bushels 46lbs. of salt was lost: Collector of Excise to cancel bond.

Application by St. Just in Penwith for order to be made on William Warren, yeoman, living in St. Keverne, to maintain his mother Mary Warren "being a poor old impotent person unable to work or maintain herself", she being chargeable to St. Just: on hearing statement by W.W.'s attorney, and affirmation that M.W. was W.W.'s mother, and that W.W. was living in St. Keverne, ordered that W.W. pay St. Just 5s. weekly maintenance until further notice.
