Two 30 horse power side lever boat engines, with 31½ inch cylinders, 3 foot strokes.Cross-section of the boat and engines, longitudinal section of engine room and boiler, plan of the engines and sleepers, plan and section of the engine platform - reverse drawings made in the London office; section and plan of boiler - partially coloured original and reverse drawings made in the London office (the original is marked "Bad performance. Make no more this, J. W. Jr. Jan. 1831"); sketch of boiler, chimney and safety valve; paddle wheel and shaft - original and coloured reverse drawings. Only the paddle wheel drawings bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: sections and plans of boiler - 2 partially coloured original and 2 reverse drawings made in the London office, Sep. 1832. These drawings bear letter codes.Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 832. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 316.
For the Imperial & Royal Danube Steam Navigation Co. The agents were Doxat & Co. of London, and the order was placed by the company's engineers, J. Andrews and Joseph Pritchard.
