Born Hoylake 24/2/92. Husband of Ada Adelaide Lancaster of Beach Cottage Hightown - she predeceased her husband. Son of Charles Holland Lancaster of 'Stanmore', 15 Lingdale Rd, West Kirby. Educated at Rossall School where he was a member of the Officer Training Corps. Enlisted in Liverpool on 4/9/14 as No 15222 in 17 KLR. Occupation cotton salesman, height 5' 7", weight 177lbs with good physical development, complexion fresh, eyes grey, hair brown, religion CofE. Appointed paid L/Cpl 23/2/15, promoted Cpl 11/5/15. His commission application is dated 24/6/15. Discharged to a commission in 17 KLR 5/7/15. To France 16/5/16 (Southampton - Le Havre) and joined 122 MGC Company. He left estate valued £1275 6s 1d. (Officers Papers - PRO)

Youngest son of Mr CH Lancaster (artchitect and surveyor) of Stanmore, Lingdale Rd, West Kirby. Aged 24. Educated at Rossall. He later worked in the offices of Messrs DF Pennefather & Co, cotton brokers of 1 Tithebarn St., Liverpool. Member of Birkenhead Park Cricket Club and Liverpool Ramblers FC. Member of the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Three months after he married his wife died. Commissioned from the KLR into the MGC. His brother Harold also served with the KLR.
