Indentures of lease and release and appointment between Rev.Thomas Short, clerk, of Oxford and George Walker, bricklayer, of Bedford with Richard Halfhead, corn factor, of Bedford acting as his trustee, for £359/15/- of:
a piece of land in parish of St.Paul, Bedford, measuring: to SE 170 feet depth; to NW 183 feet depth; to NE 93 feet width; to SW 76 feet with bounded by: to NW and SW a road leading from Clapham to St.Lloyds and by S part of close now belonging to Joseph Smith; to NE and SE by road from Clapham to Bedford and other half of said close belonging to Thomas Brandam and John Hilton - shown on an included plan which also notes a pound in road to NW [see Appendix I]
