Concerning the estate of Mrs Carolina Boniface (earlier Stokes).
Include title deeds to 51-53 Cowper Rd, Stoke Newington [sale from Richard and Eliza Elizabeth Maries to Caroline Stokes (1-4); abstract of title indicates 7-8 Rutland Place, later 51-53 Cowper Rd, built by Edward Barnes Symes prior to 1860, leasing from William Weaver]. Also sale by Carloline Stokes to Francis John Samuel Chalkley of 45 SN High St, butcher, 1881 (5-6); and purchase by Caroline Boniface from John Vandenbeyh of 44 Shakespeare Road, South Hornsey, 1883 (8)
Group also includes marriage certificates of Caroline Vandenbeyh to Richard Stokes (1868) and as C. Stokes, to Henry William Boniface (1882), (9); miscellaneous receipts and bills (1879-85)
(10); reprint from the Local Government Journal, 21 May 1892 on the Lea Bridge and Walthamstow Tramways (route changes inc Hackney) (11); and miscellaneous printed items and photographs, including copy of the rules and regulations of the Ordnance Survey (employers), 1896, and card from the South Met.
