Assignment by John Woolmer of Gainsborough, co. Linc., gent., to Philip Hatton of Stratford upon Avon, mercer, for £40, of a lease from the Mayor, etc. of Stratford, dated 25 February 1717, of five messuages near the Bancroft, extending in breadth on the east end or Bancroft side 84 feet, in breadth at the west end 77 feet and in length from the Bancroft side to the west end 55 feet, in the several tenures of Charles Saggin, Thomas Dide, Charles Shervington, Richard Gray and Richard Williams, for 51 years at a yearly rent of 13s. 4d., and a couple of capons or 1s. 6d. in lieu thereof.
