From: Farningham, vicar To: William Wittlesey, archbishop of Canterbury Recites the archbishop's mandate to the vicar, dated 12 Jun 1373 at Otford. This required the vicar to cite William Paschali, Thomas de Panetria, Joan Smythes, Joan Degnum del Almerya and Christina wife of John Sleyne, parishioners of Farningham, to appear before the archbishop wherever he may be in the city, diocese or province of Canterbury, on 20 Jun, to answer certain articles and interrogatories in an office case. The vicar has cited everyone named in the mandate. Given at Farningham [Kent].
