Description

Richard Cleeton of Wall in the parish of Rushbury, gentleman 2. William Lloyd of Ludlow gentleman 3. Thomas Hawley late of Caurse Castle but now of Shrewsbury 4. Thomas Lloyd of Osbaston in the parish of Kinnerley gentleman and John Asterley of Careghova in the County of Denbigh a trustee for the said Thomas Lloyd.

Release.

9 and 10 August 1810. See 279/71, 72.

27 & 28 March 1810 See 279/61,62.

Consideration 10/- paid to Cleeton by Lloyd at the request of Hawley, Cleeton releases all the aforesaid property to Lloyd to the use of Atcherley and in trust for Lloyd during his lifetime to prevent Lloyds wife being entitled to dower.

Also cites the indenture of release of 10 August 1810 which after reciting the premises which are hereby intended to be released says that they were vested in William Lloyd for the residue of a term of 5000 years in trust for Thomas Hawley and his heirs and they are now to remain without prejudice in trust for Richard Cleeton for the better securing of £2000 advanced to Thomas Hawley and now it is agreed that William Lloyd and other persons last mentioned shall stand seised of such estate without prejudice to the principal sum of £4000 now due on mortgage of the said premises hereby intended to be released to James Davies of Ludlow glover and also the said stipend of £60 a year to the chaplain of Minsterley, in trust for the said Thomas Lloyd.
