'Plan of His Majesty's Dock Yard at Sheerness, showing in red the parts of the Wharfs and that were damaged by the extraordinary high tide and gale in the year 1808'. Survey shows coastline (River Medway), hydrography ('low water mark'), jetties, land use, roads, buildings, military instillations (Half Moon Battery), land marks and remarks. North point (orientation to east). Scale: 6.9 inches to 600 feet. Annotated with red crayon: '59'. Estimated date: 1810, as suggested by Lieutenant Alexander Becher
