- Left to right: Alice Milne (nee Speakman), Edward Milne snr, Edward Milne jnr, and Frank Milne. Taken shortly before Mr. Milne left to fight in the Cheshire Regiment in World War One. He joined up to save his son George from doing so, but George nevertheless joined the Royal Engineers Regiment.
