CCA-DCc-ChAnt/T/1-18 The charters in this section relate to Thornden in East Kent, which lies in Swalecliffe parish, about 4 miles inland from the North Kent coast and 4 miles north of Canterbury. DCc-Register/C, ff84r-86r, contains 16 charters for Thornden, and there are 14 charters relating to Thornden in DCc-Register/E, ff222r-223r and 228v.
CCA-DCc-ChAnt/T/19-23 This section of charters relates to Tenterden in the Weald of Kent, which lies 18 miles south east of Maidstone. 2 Tenterden charters are registered in the Ickham sections of DCc-Register/C and DCc-Register/E.
CCA-DCc-ChAnt/T/24-39 The remaining charters relate to various places beginning with T, including Tilmanstone, the Isle of Thanet and Tonbridge [all Kent] and Bircham Tofts [Norfolk].
DCc-ChAnt/T/37 is an Exeter Cathedral charter concerning Topsham [Devon] which has no obvious connection with Canterbury, and may only have come here in the 1660s, when the cathedral's archives were returned after the Restoration.
There are 5 charters relating to Bircham Tofts in the divers places sections of DCc-Register/B, ff407v-408r, and DCc-Register/E, ff398r-398v.
