Docketed “With sketch of Avon’s conical valve pipes with a view to employ them in the Monkey. Is there occasion for using stop valve pipes in Danube 38 horse engines (no). Avon’s eccentrics – particulars wanted. Monkey’s estimate delayed. Avon’s foot valve pins omitted to be shown in two. Have a pattern for boiler flue door and frame.” The sketch is on the same sheet.
