Brown full-leather album, 252x345mm, containing mounted prints preceded by a letterpress index of captions. The title and photographer's name are stamped in gold on the front cover. The album contains a letter addressed to M. H. Spielmann in London: '[From Lakshmivilas Palace, Baroda]. 31.XII.14. My dear Mr Spielmann, I have pleasure to send for your acceptance as a present from His Highness the Maharaja Gaekwar one copy of an album of Baroda Views by separate Parcel post, through Thomas Cook & Son, Bombay. I hope you will like it, Wish you happy & merry X, yours sincerely, N.K. Ambegarkar'. The album contains views of buildings in Baroda (Vadodara) including palaces, state and public buildings. There are 76 views described in the index but 'No 2. Laxmi Vilas Palace, NW View' is missing.
