C W Davis and Son were suppliers of furniture in the Carlisle and Whitehaven areas. Their records show that in 1956 the firm was operating from 23 King Street in Wigton, and from 1959 at 58 Roper Street in Whitehaven. According to 1954 and 1961 directories for Cumberland, C W Davis and Son also operated from properties in Carlisle. These records were salvaged by the depositor from a property in Whitehaven.
