Transfer of Mortgage: (a) Joseph Musgrave of Richmond co. Surrey, esq.; (b) Vigerus Edwards of the Inner Temple, London, esq.; (c) Samuel Barker of Lyndon, co. Rutland, esq.; (d) John Whiston of London, bookseller: (i) by a deed dated 12th December 1691 Sir Thomas Barker of Lyndon transferred to James Buck of the Inner Temple, London, for a term of 500 years as a security for £1500 the following closes situated in LYNDON, co. Rutland:- Luffenham Close, Luffenham Close Meadow, Furr Close Meadow, Furr Close (ii) by a deed dated 8th May 1694 the said James Buck transferred the said mortgage to Sir Christopher Musgrave (iii) by a deed dated 9th May 1735 the above said Joseph Musgrave acknowledged the receipt of all the interest of the said sum of £1500 and the receipt of £500 paid by said Vigerus Edwards in part of the prinsipal sum: it is now agreed (a) to transfer to Vigerus Edward a third part of said property for the remainder of said term as a security for said £500 (b) to transfer to said John Whiston the remaining two thirds of said property for the remainder of said term as a security for £1000 paid by said John Whiston in satisfaction of the remaining part of said principal sum.
