Description

Black half-leather album, 375x460mm, containing mounted prints with letterpress captions. Originally presented to the library of the Institution of Civil Engineers, London, by the Public Works Department, Naini Tal, in July 1891. The album has acquisition labels and ink stamps inside. The photographs depict various stages in the construction of the Nadrai Aqueduct from May 1887 to its completion in 1889-90.
