Lease from Sir John Armitage, of Kirklees, Bart., to Alice Rayner, of Sopehouse in Kirklees, widow, of a messuage in Kirklees called Sopehouse, with appurtenances, and a messuage in Hartshead called Dochentail for twenty-one years at a rental of seventeen pounds six shillings, four fat capons at Christmas, four Sickle boons in corn harvest, four days haymaking, four days Inge dressing, to keep one hound for the said Sir John Armitage or pay twelve strikes of well-dressed oats. Witnesses, Magdalen Taylor, Jos. Hall.
