Title
British Museum (Natural History): Department of Mineralogy: Keeper of Mineralogy's Accommodation Files
Date
1838-1981
Description

This series consists of accommodation files of the British Museum (Natural History) Department of Mineralogy's Keeper of Minerology.

Records in this series largely derive from the office of the Keeper of Mineralogy, although there is no evidence that they were ever kept there as an accommodation series. Files and other papers making up the series relate to the British Museum in Bloomsbury, the development of plans for the new building in South Kensington, continuing needs for both office and laboratory accommodation within the Waterhouse building, and to offsite storage in Acton.

Includes files originally in DF 7.
