'A Trigonometrical Survey of the Port of Guasco [Huasco]'. Survey shows coastline, hydrography, anchorages (HMS Conway), wreck sites, topography, roads, settlements, buildings, land marks and remarks. Manuscript. Watermark: 'M & J Lay 1817'. Latitude and longitude referred to in remarks; north point showing true and magnetic north. Scale: 4.8 inches to 2 nautical miles. Surveyed by Henry Foster, Master's Mate, HMS Conway, with Captain Basil Hall in November 1821. Annotated with pencil: squaring. Endorsed with black ink: 'Received from Captain Basil Hall HMS Conway, 11 March 1823' with stamp: 'Hydrographical Office'
