Compared with probate copy of original 10 April 1815. Direction that executors pay debts and funeral expenses. Legacies (1) To John Bromfield, son of testator, a house of the north side of Gosford Bridge, Coventry, now occupied by [ ] Caldicott, William Holmes and [ ] Palin, subject to a bequest of £20 to Susannah, grand daughter of testator. (2) A half share of houses on the south side of Much Park Street, Coventry, now occupied by John Day, Joseph Ward, Joseph Whitmore and Thomas Davenport to Lucy, daughter of testor, and wife of William Riley; Frances Bromfield; Susannah; daughter of the testator and wife of John Richardson; Sarah, Lucy and Elizabeth, daughters of Sarah Riley, daughter of testator as tenants in common, (3) The other half share of the above property to Elizabeth Sparks, daughter of the testator for life, after her death to her children, if she dies without issue to the children of the abovementioned parties. (4) To Ann and Frances Bromfield, daughters of the testators a half share of a house in Much Park Street now occupied by the testator and an adjoining orchard occupied by Charles Meakin for life, after the death of the survivor to the heirs and assigns of Anne Bromfield. (5) A half share of the above house to his heirs. (6) Four fifths of a share of houses in Much Park Street now occupied by Samuel Pope, Charles Colly and Samuel Morris and another house in Kenilworth, Warws., in the occupation of Joseph Littleton and all other real property to the daughters of the testator, Ann Bromfield, Frances Bromfield, Susannah Richardson and Lucy Riley as tenants in common. The fifth share, land occupied by Samuel Payne, Charles Colley and Samuel Morris, etc., in Kenilworth, Warws., to Sarah, Lucy and Elizabeth Riley, daughters of Sarah Riley deceased, daughter of the testator, as tenants in common. (7) £50 to John Bromfield grandson of the testator. (8) £50 to Ann grand daughter of the testator and wife of Joseph Cleaver. (9) To John Bromfield son of the testator, all household goods, etc. (10) To William Richardson, grandson of the testator, two silver spoons. (11) Residue of goods to the daughters of the testator and his grand daughters, daughters of Sarah daughter (now deceased) of the testator. (12) If Ann Bromfield dies in lifetime of testator, all her share is devised on Susannah, grand daughter of the testator. Executrices, Lucy Riley, Ann Bromfield and Susannah Richardson.
