Description (What the record is about)
-
Letter from Charlotte Davies to 'Mr. Davies'.
She did not intend writing until the next day but his brother's oppression on the chest has returned. Mr. ? Town applied a blister, but this morning systoms about the same. Mr. T. fears there are indications of return of the original illness; if so they must expect the worst & she feels that as strength decreases that there is so little hope of restoration to ask that her son & she must make up their minds to intrust with resignation to the decree of Providence. She has given John a hint to this effect and the shock if not apprized might come very heavy. She does all she can to lessen & the remedy the but she fears without success as debility now appears to predominate.
"This also is the opinion of Mr. Town."
In envelope addressed in her hand to Rev. R.J.Davies, Rectory Aberhafesp, Nr. Newtown.
With 631/3/201.
