Description

Parties to the agreement: (1) Dean and Chapter, impropriators, Lord Rendlesham of Rendlesham Hall, Suffolk; Abraham Wildey Robarts of Hill Street, Berkeley Square, London; Edward Simeon of Carlton, Suffolk; Viscount Hawarden, lessees of the tithes; the Revd John Sharpe, vicar of the parish; and (2) Sir Joseph William Copley, Bart., of Sprot borough Hall, Co. of York, sole owner of all the lands in the parish. Tithes on 627 acres 1 rood 7 perch (Sir Joseph Copley's land) to be commuted for annual sum of £211 payable to the lessees, and of annual sum of £62 payable to Dr Sharpe, the vicar. Schedule of lands attached.
