Description

By Elizabeth Sarah Smith of Lewes, spinster, to Augustus Eliott Fuller of freehold messuages, lands and premises holden of the Manor of Foxhunt by fealty, suit of court, heriot, relief and quit rents, namely

A messuage, barn and lands called Fordlands containing 8 ac. in Waldron late Fullers and formerly Relfes, rent 1s.8d

Lands called Sommers containing 80 ac. in Waldron formerly Relfe's, rent 4s

A messuage, barn, malthouse and land called Wood Place containing 70 acres in Waldron, rent 5s.1d

Two parcels of woodland called Oakhurst, Foords and Tyles land, 22 acres, in Waldron, rent 4s.8d

Lands called Rayfords, 22 ac. in Waldron, rent 9s.5d

A messuage, smith's shop, garden &c. called Bonnisack als Bonifaces, 1 ac., in Waldron, rent 2d

Five pieces of freehold land, 22 ac., at Maynards Green in Heathfield, rent 10d

A messuage and lands called the Gatehouse, 7 ac., in Chiddingly, rent 4s.4½d

A messuage and lands called Cockslow, 140 ac., in Hellingly rent 3s.8d

Woodlands, parcel of the Strood, containing 16 ac. near Chiddingly Mill in Chiddingly, rent 2s

A messuage and 10 ac. called the Den adjoining to Thunders Down, rent 6d

Lands called Reedlands, 60 ac., in Heathfield, rent 4s.8d

A messuage and 4 acres, parcel of Reedlands, rent 1s

A messuage and lands containing 40 acres in Hellingly alte Cryers, before Thatchers and formerly James Markwicks, rent 1s

For £115.10s. the said E.S. Smith bargained sold, released, enfranchised and for ever discharged the said A.E. Fuller and the said premises from all quitrents, heriots, reliefs and other manorial suits and services
