These records actually form part of the minute series of the Local Pensions Committee (BCC/1/CE). The committee was incorrectly split into the Old Age Pensions Committee 1908 - 1931 (BCC/1/BK) and the Local Pensions Committee 1932 - 1948 (BCC/1/CE) as part and original arrangement; in fact all the material comes under the auspices of the Local Pensions Committee from 1908 - 1948. The error may have occurred due to the titles on the covers of the earlier minute volumes.
