With BEF in F&F from 10/3/16; transf MGC Nov 1916 and was KIA in action at Inverness Wood, 22/8/17; buried Valley Cottage Cem. Unmarried

Son of Blanche Mary Watson (nee Branston), of The Shieling, Station Rd., Hampton Wick, Kingston-on-Thames, and the late John Mowbray Watson, of Edinburgh. Born at Edinburgh. Obtained Commission in 9th Bn. North Staffordshire Regt., Feb., 1915. Valley Cottages Cem. Mem. H. 7. Railway Dugouts Burial Ground - Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.;
