The transfer of engagements referred to in the introduction to the list of MSS.42B did not, in fact, take place. The Federation continued in inactive existence until 1982, its affairs finally being wound up in early 1983. The deposit described below was kindly made by the former secretary of the Federation, Mr N. Ovenden, in Jun/Jul 1983. It supplements material deposited in 1974 (MSS.42) and 1975 (MSS.42B), for which separate lists have been issued.
