Most of these books relate to farms in Hunts. and at Moggerhanger, the farm at Shillington not starting until the late 19th century. Directories show that Ben. Brown was farming at Moggerhanger in 1854 and Geo. Brown in 1877. In 1894 Geo. Brown was at Shillington, and the farmer at Willow Hill Farm (Moggerhanger) was Wm. Cooper. There are few headings in these accounts to show to which farm(s) they refer on any given page; reference has to be made to the internal evidence of the accounts themselves.
