4 horse power bell crank engine, with 13 inch cylinder, 2 foot stroke.
Reverse general view and plan of the engine and boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler; coloured general view and plan sent by John Rennie. All the drawings except the last item bear letter codes.
Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 448. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 148.
For Leith Harbour, ordered by John Rennie. The engine was delivered, but not erected, and in 1806 it was sold to G. Dunlop & Co. who erected it at a distillery near Linton, Haddingtonshire.
