Administrative / biographical background

Woking Petty Sessional Division was created in 1910 and comprised the parishes of Bisley, Byfleet, Horsell, Ockham, Pirbright, Pyrford, Send and Ripley, Wisley, Woking and Worplesdon. Worplesdon was transferred to Godalming Petty Sessional Division in 1953.
