Folios 182-183. Letter from Charles Wright, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board, enclosing a proposal of service for Robert Palmer an indoor pauper.
'Proposal of service for pauper child maintained in union workhouse'. The pauper is Robert Palmer, aged 14, and he had last lived in Worthing in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, He had lived in the workhouse all his life. It is proposed that he works for William Nicholson, Farmer, Brisley.
