Mrs. Eleanor Mary Gibbons (Tape no. 1054) was born in Heyhead in 1901. She lived with her grandparents who kept the Plough Inn and adjoining Market garden in Heyhead (now rebuilt as the Airport Hotel, Ringway Rd.) They were Pearsons, and her mother was Edith Pearson. Her father was John Moult. She married William Bloor but he died soon afterwards and she married her present husband Mr. Gibbons in 1931.
