-
'Passage West' was a film by Philip Donnellan, which drew its title from the town on the shore of Cork Harbour, Ireland. The film was concerned with the emigration experiences of Irish people. Charles Parker collaborated on the soundtrack for this film and assembled much of the actuality material used. Most of the surviving material consists of people reading extracts from historical documents - wills, court records, letters, newspaper articles - relating to Atlantic migration.
