Description

Bond from William Smythe of Solyhull clerk, to Arthur Gregory of Stychall esq., in the penal sum of £100, to allow Arthur peaceful possession, so long as William is vicar of Corley, of lands and tenements in Corley, not part of the said vicarage and pertaining to the late priory of Coventrey.

Dated: 26 February, 30 Elizabeth.

Signed: by mee Wyllyam Smyth clercke.

Seal on tongue: circular, red. The letters HW. Tie missing.

Witness: Henry Wyllyams.

Endorsed: i) William Smithes bond, vicker of Corley, to Arthur Gregory [LG]

ii) 30 Eliz.
