Folio 361. Draft letter from Local Government board to W M Barton [Walter May Barton] Clerk to the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 20 January 1880 and state that they see no objection to the appointment of Charles William Eastoe to the office of schoolmaster of the workhouse of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union. Approved salary to be £30 per annum and 1s 6d per week in lieu of beer. They require a report on Eastoe from the guardians in 3 months.
