A collection of glass lantern slides taken by Richard Chadwick Crabtree of 74 Bury Road, Bamford. The photographer was the uncle-in-law of the depositor.
Richard Crabtree was a member of Rochdale Photographic Society. The photographs date from 1922 to 1936, and include photographs taken in the Rochdale area and in Switzerland.
The information given below is taken from labels affixed to the lantern slides. D100/1/1 to 97 follow the sequence listed in the manuscript notes which accompany the lantern slides.
