This document is an 18th Century transcript of an admission and surrender granted by the Court Baron of the Manor of Marden.
The Steward of the Manor of Marden was Robert Ketelbey, and it was the Court of Baroness Margaret Coningsby. The document also mention Michael Newton as an official, but his connection to the Manor is unknown.
This document was given to the depositor by another member of her village, but nothing more is known.
