Description

Robert Smith, citizen & draper of London to Thomas Terry, son of Sir William Terry late of Stoke Newington, knight, deceased.

Recites bargain and sale from Terry to Smith of 1632 in which (effectively) money is advanced on terms of repayment against the following property:

7a of land called Preachers, 5a of land called LIttle Preachers; 7a of pasture lying dividely in two several crofts, also called Preachers; Great Gravel Pitts, 7a; Brymingham Field of 4a; Ponds (pasture) of 3a; those closes of land or pasture called Hobbech or Holbeach Hills at Stamford Hill of 4a; 2a 3r of land at Stamford Hill near Hawkeswell in one piece; 15a of land and three crofts at Stamford Hill; 3a of land and pasture called BUshie hangers and Holbeache Hills all in the parish and manor of Hackney, occuppied by Thomas NIcholls, Thomas Warrall, Thomas Aybarrow, Bartholomew Nicholls and William Hawsey.

Smith agrees that if repayment terms met, bargain and sale will become void. Dated 4 July 1635
