COFFINSWELL.
Indenture made between William Abbot of Torre, and the Convent, on one part, and Robert Scobbehulle, on the other, witnessing that said Robert and his ancestors and others whose Estate their ancestors and he have in the Manor of Coffyngewylle, held it from time immemorial of said Abbot and Convent as of the Manor of Daccomb in right of the Church of Holy Trinity of Torre for 6/7ths of a Knight's fee and ratifying the Estate of Robert in said Manor, to be held at a rent of 8s. 4d. and relief on the death of a tenant of 20s.
