Red half-leather bound album measuring 375x280 mm, with title as above stamped in gilt on front cover; prints mostly mounted four to a page, with pencilled captions beneath. The binding is in poor condition, with boards and spine detached and most pages loose. Prints 1-30 records some of Bailey's activities (mainly hunting) during 1905, between the conclusion of the Gartok Expedition in January and his taking up of the position of Trade Agent at Gyantse. Prints 31-199 document his period at Gyantse, while prints 200--211 shows scenes from the Chumbi area, where Bailey was transferred as agent in 1907. Prints credited to photographers other than Bailey are 148-54: Captain Steen, 212-17: Fraser, 218-34: Tashi Lama.
