Letters of interest include Peter Stephens' letters about his travels in Italy in the 1750s, correspondence with a Shropshire gentleman, Edward Arnold, in New York and New England at the time of the American War of Independence, letters from a Lieutenant Brisac to his friend Captain Jones in the 1840s and letters from Lt. Roger Haslewood from the Far East in the First World War. Property deeds relate to Shropshire and other counties, including Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
