Reeves, unlike larger firms, did not use a system of drawing registration, involving series of drawing numbers with corresponding registers, nor did they use standard sizes of drawing paper. Those Reeves' drawings in the Institute's custody, in the absence of any system of organisation by the firm itself, have therefore been arranged according to products, types of work and premises. Due to the irregularity of the drawing sizes the individual drawing dimensions are given in the catalogue entries. Physical types are indicated by the following abbreviations:

OD = Original Drawing, normally on cartridge paper

TP = Tracing on paper

TC = Tracing on cloth

BP = Blueprint

-C = Coloured
